| When introducing your dog to the Dog-Cozy™, have some treats on hand and make it a fun and non-threatening experience. Never force a dog into the Dog-Cozy™. Use positive reinforcement, treats, and the experience of being warmed up, rubbed, and dried-off as incentive. |

- Undo the zipper and snap of your Dog-Cozy and lay it flat on an even surface.
- Get your dog to sit in the middle of the Dog-Cozy facing the end with the collar.
- Draw the Dog-Cozy around your dog and do up the collar.
- Adjust the fabric for your dog's comfort and close the zipper.
- Ensure that your dog is on a surface he or she cannot fall off of to avoid possible injuries. Remember, mobility is possible but limited inside of the Dog-Cozy and some movement serves to help dry the dog off as he rubs himself against the terry towel.
- Never leave your dog unattended inside of the Dog-Cozy.
- Allow your dog to rest, shift around, warm-up and dry-off in the Dog-Cozy, but limit its use to the amount of time required to do the job.
- Reward your dog during and after her time in the Dog-Cozy. Make it a positive experience.
- After use, shake any dirt, debris, sand, or dog hair out of the bag and hang it to dry.
- Wash as required.
